Starts self-taught photography,then studies at Paris VIII University while working, and obtained a DEA about the Bisson brothers. Initiated in parallel with alternative practices and became one of the few French specialists of „Mordançage”. Provides professionally orders Illustration, Still Life, Architecture, Landscape, teaches shooting and printing Black and White for a dozen years and aesthetics and semiotics of the image. Pinhole very diligently over the past ten years, Marie-Noëlle Leroy organizes and curate the only international exhibitions of pinhole photography existing in France and in 2011 she presents the fifth edition.
Regularly organizes training workshops and events around the pinhole.

Participated in thirty solo and group exhibitions in France and abroad, published numerous articles and collaborated on publications.
